Reservoir breather

New Thermally Reactive Advanced Protection (TRAP) breathers eliminate moisture from hydraulic reservoirs.

New Thermally Reactive Advanced Protection (TRAP) breathers eliminate moisture from hydraulic reservoirs. The breathers remove atmospheric moisture at only 15% relative humidity and are said to outperform traditional desiccant breathers. The unit's porous walls are uniformly coated with a thin film of water-absorbing chemicals. The high-surface-area coating rapidly removes water vapor while minimizing size and weight. Unlike desiccant breathers, this open porous structure minimizes flow restrictions. And it regenerates its water-holding capacity with each flow cycle, extending life. TRAP breathers are available in a variety of housing configurations and materials, with optional electronic indicators.
