New Product: Laser-alignment tool

Oct. 11, 2007
The 2D Microgage laser-alignment tool combines a laser transmitter with a receiver and digital display.

As the laser moves across the receiver in a vertical or horizontal direction, the display provides a motion reading, accurate to 0.0001 in. The batteryoperated system’s bright-red beam operates over a distance of 100 ft. Available accessories allow for alignment of straightness, runout, parallelism, squareness, bore and shaft alignment, and flatness measuring. Components of the Microgage are solid aluminum with a hard-anodized coating. Additional features include a sealed pushbutton keypad, large LCD display, and serial and USB interface for connecting to a laptop or PC.
