Matte-Surfaced TPEs

The Flexalloy 9750 Series of ultrahighmolecular-weight PVCs, features low-gloss and rubberlike surfaces with hardnesses of 35 to 80 Shore A.

The PVCs are tough, resilient, and have good blocking properties that ease handling of films in applications such as bin liners, flexible "accordion" hoses, and weather stripping. The 9750 Series is said to have higher tear and tensile strength than polyolefin and styrenic TPEs. Compared to traditional flexible-vinyl compounds with the same hardness, the Series better resists compression set and remains flexible at low temperatures. The 9750 Series also processes similarly to previous TPEs in the Series.
