    Vesollan RUs (“rubberized urethanes”) are reportedly the softest injection-moldable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) alloys.

    Vesollan RUs (“rubberized urethanes”) are reportedly the softest injection-moldable thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) alloys. Versollan RU 2204 and 2205 sport Shore A hardnesses of 55 and 65, respectively. They give a “warm rubbery” rather than “cold plastic” feel to hand and power tool grips. They are also used as high-performance non-slip grips, handles, and runner boards on sporting and lawn/garden gear, and can serve as seals, gaskets, and tags. They readily overmold with good bond strength to rigid TPUs, ABS, polycarbonate (PC), as well as many PC blends, including PC/ABS, PC/PET, and PC/PBT.
