Bearings Products: Multitrack Linear Bearings

July 10, 2008
Thomson MultiTrac Ball Bushing bearings permit steady-state travel at up to 10 fps and accelerations to 450 fps2 in linear-motion systems.

A multitrack design extends load-carrying capability or operating life beyond that of conventional linear bearings. The bearings have a coefficient of friction as low as 0.001 and can operate up to 180°F. Ball-control technology cuts binding and chatter.

Bearing components are 440 stainless steel for corrosion resistance. Polymer retainers reduce inertia and noise for smoother operation. The product is available in 8, 12, 16, 20, 25, and 30-mm sizes and in adjustable, closed, and open configurations.
