Titanium quick-release pins - QRP Inc.

July 17, 2011
The pins come in a variety of diameters, finishes, and detent designs.

The pins are manufactured from Ti-6AL-4V Grade 5 and can replace steel and stainless steel pins at a weight savings of up to 50%. They have high strength-to-weight ratio; good high-temperature properties and stability; low density; and resistance to atmospheric conditions, salt water, and many chemicals.
They come with two detents or four ball detents. Standard diameters start at 3/16 in. Available finishes include plain (passivated), aluminum pigment, solid film lube, or both aluminum pigment and solid film.
