Galvanized ABS

Terluran GP-35 and GP-22 ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) resins can be galvanized with standard industry methods.

Terluran GP-35 and GP-22 ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) resins can be galvanized with standard industry methods. The materials stand up to cross-cut tests (DIN ISO 2409 and TL 529), storage under heat (TL 528), alternating-climate storage (PV 1200), and determination of peel strength (DIN 53494). In pickling tests, both plastics offer a sufficiently wide processing window for galvanization in large-scale installations. Samples reportedly have gloss typical of ABS and no surface flaws.
