    Stainless-steel one-way clutches have oil-impregnated bronze bearings.

    Available in clockwise or counterclockwise directions, the overrunning spring-wrap-type clutches come in shaft sizes from 1 /8 to 5 /8 in. Applications include unidirectional stepping, automatic flywheel decoupling, and backstopping.
