Product Spotlight: PCB enclosures with recirculating air

May 22, 2008
The 715 Series of recirculating air-cooled ATR enclosures hold commercial off-theshelf (COTS) circuit cards.

The units withstand temperature, vibration, humidity, and contaminant extremes.

While the enclosure operates like a typical conduction-cooled system on the outside, a recirculating fan on the inside transfers heat energy to the conducting walls. The conducting walls are engineered thermal cores providing maximum heat transfer to the system’s exterior surfaces. Because the cooling system doesn’t draw air in from the outside, the unit is ideal for applications in high-dust environments.
