Silcon Med-X is medical-grade silicone tubing and reinforced hose that’s platinum cured for high purity. Platinum curing minimizes compounds that can be drawn out of tubing and into the flowing fluid. Silcon Med-X also contains no plasticizers that can leach out and cause contamination or tube hardening. It is reportedly suited for applications in the medical, biomedical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, surgical, food, beverage, and health and beauty industries. Standard ID sizes range from 0.030 to 0.625 in.
