Brushless Vibration Motors

Oct. 20, 2005
The LVB10 dime-sized brushless vibration motor is 0.394 in. (10 mm) in diameter and 0.134 in. (3.4 mm) in length.

The motor develops a vibration force of 0.063 oz (1.8 gm) when powered by a 3-Vdc source. Integral electronics means only two power leads exit the case. The motor achieves a speed of 13,500 rpm drawing a rated current of 76 mA. The brushless design provides long life with minimum electrical noise. The motor is targeted for medical alert devices, personal safety detectors, cell phones, and radios.
