Heatsinkable Wirewound Resistors

June 2, 2005
The WFH flat heatsinkable wirewound resistors are rated from 90 to 330 W.

Termination options include solder, cable, and fast-on connectors. They are wound on flat cores rather than cylinders and are housed in flat-aluminum extrusions 12.6-mm high. Heat is spread through the wide aluminum baseplate to the heatsink. The resistor can be tapped, a feature not available in MIL-R-18546-type resistors.
