High-Resolution Magnetic Encoder

Feb. 23, 2006
The MSK1000 encoder uses a lowprofile magnetic band to create programmable resolutions to 0.2 m directly from the sensor.

The MSK1000 encoder uses a lowprofile magnetic band to create programmable resolutions to 0.2 m directly from the sensor. System accuracy is rated at 2 m over 2 m without correction factoring at velocities up to 16 m/sec. The flexible adhesive-backed magnetic band and small-size, low-mass sensor targets linear servomotor and direct-drive rotary applications. The IP67-rated, CEmarked sensor sports improved noise immunity from its die-cast body.
