Snap Rings Are Easy To Install

Feb. 17, 2005
Snap Rings are manufactured by coiling flat wire.

The process produces rings that have no protruding ears or burrs to interfere with performance. Standard versions are carbon steel in 1/2 to 11-in. diameters. Special designs in diameters from 0.200 to 84 in. are available. The rings can also be produced in stainless steel because coiling produces no scrap. Easyto-install Snap Rings can withstand high loads and impact loading, replace costly components in industrial applications, and are interchangeable with Eaton/Tinnerman-style snap rings.
