Noncontacting Rotary Sensor

Sept. 28, 2006
Miniature noncontact sensors are designed for dependability and precision in small and harsh environments.

The RSC 1300 Series are based on vertical Hall technology with a cross structure that is affixed to a silicon chip that provides 360° measurements with 10-bit resolution. Maximum rotating speed is 10,000 rpm with a sample rate of 10 MHz. Linearity is to ±0.3% and repeatability to 0.1% of signal range. Available options include analog, incremental, SPI, SSI, and PWM outputs; custom shaft designs; and customer-specific cabling.
