Voice-Coil Actuator Has Long Stroke

    The VM2436 voice-coil actuator provides bidirectional linearity over a maximum linear stroke of 0.59 in.

    The unit develops a peak force of almost 11 oz in a package that is 0.94 in. in diameter and 1.49-in. long. The coil assembly runs directly against a Teflonimpregnated coating on the core of the magnet assembly.
