Motor Shaft-Grounding Brush

Aug. 18, 2005
The Aegis SGR shaft-grounding brush drains VFD-induced currents in motor shafts to ground.

Conductive microfibers in direct contact with the motor shaft provide a discharge path to ground for shaft currents. The maintenance-free brush is available in sizes to fit almost any shaft diameter and is designed to last the service life of the motor. It is unaffected by dirt, grease, or other contaminants. Installation is via simple screw-on mounting brackets.
