Screw-Driven Slides

Sept. 28, 2006
The UniSlide Assemblies line of screw-driven slides has compact optical encoders for precise positioning or gauging in manufacturing and testing.

The encoder measures absolute travel distance and position in two encoder resolutions: 1 and 5 μm. An LED digital readout has an RS-232C interface, zero reset button, and inch/metric toggle switch. The stages are available in four cross-sectional widths: 2.5, 4, 6, and 9 in. for loads up to 300 lb. Models with travel ranges from 1 to 84 in. are available.
