Low-Gloss Acetal Copolymer

Feb. 8, 2007
Hostaform WR140LG, an acetal copolymer, has up to 80% less gloss than standard UV-stabilized acetals.

It provides exterior automotive components, including trim elements, window rail end caps, and antenna mounts, with 60° gloss readings of less than 3%, depending on molded surface textures. It also undergoes relatively little appearance change after extended UV exposure. And unlike other weatherable acetals, it won't form a chalky pigment residue on part surfaces.
