Lightweight FRLS

Nov. 17, 2005
New AS2 Series FRLs filter, regulate, lubricate, and drain in a single unit.

The modular design lets users exchange individual parts while the system is assembled. A hose from the reservoir feeds oil into the unit and prevents fouling. A polyamide protective guard surrounds the lubricator and has a large inspection window that makes it easy to check oil level. The entire unit can be secured by multiple padlocks using built-in locking mechanisms. The lightweight, polymer units have a smooth surface that cleans easily and resists many cleaning agents. Only the connection threads (NPT and ISO-G) are metal to withstand high tightening torques. Filters include 5, 0.3, and 0.01 m, and the condensate drain valve is available in normally closed and normally open configurations. This makes it possible to quickly build up operating pressure in larger systems without leakage.
